Description: I was asked to pick a topic that had a problem and design solutions to help solve it. I chose to help support local organic Wisconsin farmers as my thesis topic.
Project Concept: Over the past three semester I researched organic farming. The problem I found was there is a limited amount of certified organic farms in Wisconsin. To help solve this problem I targeted farmers that want to become certified organic, in transition of being organic, and currently Certified Naturally Grown and USDA Organic. I designed certification kits, Pop-up Markets, a website, and an app. I also targeted men and women that want to eat organic. For the customers I designed a website and an app to order seasonal Meal Boxes and Raw Boxes.
